Contemporary modern houses focus on structural simplicity, order and functionality - monochromatic walls, basic materials and clean architecture line are the foundation. The design emphasises on open plan, strong lines, lack of ornamentation and minimal texture. Lighting is a key structural element that accentuates planes and highlights focal points.

 

This proposal seeks to provide a sanctuary, away from the hustle and bustle of Kuantan city centre. Materials, illumination, tonality and finishes aided in the diversion of attention away from the city into the heart of this house.
