Wearn Hong Chua completed his architecture education at Taylor's University in Malaysia and Mackintosh
School of Architecture in the United Kingdom. He was the recipient of various prestigious awards, most
memorably the Chairman's Medal and CIS Student of the Year. Throughout his architectural journey, his works
were featured in multiple publications including Architects' Journal and Architecture Malaysia.
Currently based in London, Wearn Hong is a practicing ARB/RIBA chartered architect at world-renowned
architecture firm whereby he
was made an Associate. Whilst at the practice, he has been involved in several high profile international
projects, including Queen Alia Airport extension in Amman, Motoazabu luxury residential apartments in Tokyo,
CBD masterplan in Wuhan, Hamad International Airport expansion in Doha, French Embassy redevelopment in
Kuala Lumpur, Lusail Towers in Lusail, Canary Wharf mixed-use development in London, Dachong Tower 7 in
Shenzhen, and South Quay Plaza residential skyscaper in London.
He previously worked at Sutherland Hussey Architects in Edinburgh, Beijing Matsubara and Architects in
Beijing and Arkitek Inasreka in Kuala Lumpur.
